TL;DR

Business Operations & Strategy Lead (AI SaaS): Identifying and executing high-impact strategic projects for Engineering, Product, and Design teams with an accent on financial modeling and AI-driven operational scalability. Focus on structuring complex ambiguous problems, building business cases, and optimizing AI SaaS monetization strategies.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA). Must work from the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).

Salary: $230,000 - $260,000 per year

What you will do

  • Identify and own high-impact strategic and operational opportunities end-to-end, from scoping through execution.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market leaders to define and implement strategies across all hirify.global products.
  • Structure complex strategic problems, defining hypotheses and building quantitative models to influence leadership decisions.
  • Analyze competitive positioning and market landscapes to uncover insights that inform business recommendations.
  • Develop scalable systems and automation using AI tools to multiply operational impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of strategy experience, with 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, or professional services.
  • Must be based in San Francisco, CA to comply with in-person collaboration requirements.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and data self-sufficiency with required knowledge of SQL.
  • Proficiency with modern AI tools (e.g., hirify.global AI, Claude, Codex) and deep understanding of AI SaaS business models.
  • Outstanding executive-level written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in strategy and operations within B2B SaaS businesses.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
