What you will do

• Advise and support PRP governmental partners (cities, counties, officials) on civil rights issues.
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance across jurisdictions.
• Draft legal briefs, memoranda, analyses, and edit others' work.
• Identify advocacy opportunities and build relationships across jurisdictions.
• Participate in coalitions with officials, organizations, and advocates.
• Plan and facilitate virtual convenings, agendas, and discussions.
• Manage information flow, prioritize for leadership, and support communications.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
• 4+ years relevant attorney experience (litigation, brief writing, movement lawyering).
• Experience in nonprofits, government, or law firms focused on civil rights or litigation.
• Outstanding legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, judgment, prioritization in fast-paced settings.
• Team player committed to civil rights and justice.
