Vice President of Sales, New Verticals (FinTech): Own the strategy, execution, team, and revenue results for expansion into utilities, insurance, and broadband with an accent on go-to-market strategies, enterprise partnerships, and market entry. Location: Hybrid roles in New York, San Francisco, or Salt Lake City (2-3 days per week onsite); relocation assistance available for candidates outside these areas. Employees located throughout the US, Australia, Canada, and South America.

Salary: $400,000 - $500,000 USD (Tier 1 markets: NYC/SF); geographic pay differential for other US locations.

What you will do

  • Develop and own go-to-market strategies for utilities, insurance, and broadband, defining ICP, target accounts, and partnership models.
  • Build and lead high-performing sales teams, recruiting, coaching, and scaling structure with business growth.
  • Drive full sales cycles for enterprise partnerships, from prospecting to close, including complex negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partner Success to position offerings and ensure partnership success.
  • Represent hirify.global at industry conferences to build visibility, source pipeline, and establish thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or business development in FinTech/payments, focused on new market entry.
  • Proven track record selling payment solutions into utilities, insurance, and/or broadband.
  • Experience building and managing sales teams in growth-stage environments.
  • Deep knowledge of buyer landscapes, decision-makers, and evaluation processes in target verticals.
  • Strong financial/legal acumen for deal modeling and negotiations; high proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and comfort with ambiguity.
