Salary: $252,000 — $378,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of Solution Engineers, focusing on their professional growth and development plans.
• Own and report on the business impact of the team during the evaluation of the Okta identity platform.
• Drive deal success by proposing technical strategies and providing on-site deal support.
• Collaborate with broader presales teams and business units to foster a "team within a team" environment.
• Recruit, ramp, and mentor a diverse team of high-performing Solutions Engineers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success selling to US Public Sector (SLED or FED) agencies.
• 12+ years of presales experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with MEDDPICC and Value/Outcome based selling methodologies.
• Ability to influence technical decision-makers and act as an executive sponsor.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Expertise in security product market trends and Okta's roadmap.
• Knowledge of competitor product offerings in the identity space.
• Competency with security software such as firewalls, proxies, VPN, CASB, and databases.
