What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of product managers, raising the bar on problem framing, prioritization, and product judgment.
• Own the 1–2 year roadmap for product domains such as Care Operations or Data & Platform.
• Align domain strategy with company-wide priorities to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
• Optimize the operating cadence between product and engineering to manage tradeoffs and escalate risks early.
• Drive cross-functional decision-making across product, engineering, operations, and clinical leadership.
• Establish team standards and define expectations for high-quality product management at Zócalo.

Requirements

• 9-10+ years of product management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience directly managing other product managers.
• Experience building workflow-driven or systems-oriented products in healthcare or value-based care.
• Track record of converting complex operational processes into shipped product solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with fast-changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, population health, or clinical workflow products.
• Knowledge of EHR systems and payer reporting workflows.
• Startup or growth-stage experience building product infrastructure and norms.
• Proficiency using AI tools to optimize product and engineering workflows.
