What you will do

• Manage monthly close and bookkeeping, transitioning processes from external firms in-house.
• Own the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate payroll and tax compliance across US and UK jurisdictions.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of financial systems and ERP migrations, such as NetSuite.
• Ensure audit readiness, prepare documentation, and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
• Provide treasury reporting and liquidity management across multiple entities and currencies.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience as an early accounting hire at a high-growth, venture-backed company.
• Proficiency in multi-entity and international accounting, including multi-currency and statutory reporting.
• Proven track record of building financial processes from scratch in unstructured environments.
• Experience implementing new tools and ERP system migrations.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco or New York (On-site)
