Location: Remote from anywhere in the US and Canada. Optional offices in DC (open), NYC (opening Q1 2026), and co-working in Bay Area, Seattle, Denver, Boston, LA.
Base: $125,000 - $165,000 + company bonus $10,000 - $40,000.

What you will do
- Partner on monthly close across entities, ensuring cash and intercompany balances tie out.
- Prepare and review balance sheets/P&Ls, investigate variances, resolve reconciling items.
- Build and maintain intercompany processes, track balances, support expense allocations.
- Own expense coding workflows with Ramp, improve inefficiencies, explore automation.
- Manage entity compliance rhythm: filings, taxes, 1099s, registrations.
- Handle one-offs like entity formations, support audits, legal/tax partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years accounting experience with month-end close ownership at venture-backed/high-growth company
- Multi-entity experience with intercompany mechanics and shared allocations
- Familiarity with entity compliance: annual reports, taxes, 1099s, registrations
- Participated in financial statement audit from company side
- Knowledge of modern stack: Ramp/peer, ERP (NetSuite/Sage Intacct), spreadsheets
- Strong judgment, detail-oriented, process improvement mindset, tech/AI interest
