Location: Remote (United States, Western US/California focus). Willingness to travel and conduct field work as needed.

What you will do

• Develop new projects, clients, and business initiatives while managing client programs.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with key utility clients like PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E.
• Lead pursuit efforts, prepare proposals, budgets, contracts, permits, and technical reports.
• Supervise and mentor staff, provide technical guidance, and oversee linear construction and substation projects.
• Develop compliant strategies, evaluate technologies, and communicate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on environmental regulations and innovations in remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or related field.
• 15+ years in project management and environmental permitting for major utility clients.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in software for data analysis, modeling, design, and project management.
• Valid driver’s license, clean record, and willingness to travel/field work.
• Core competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in relevant field.
• PE, PG license, or certifications like PLS, GISP, Certified Hydrographer.
• Experience in power/energy, environmental, coastal, marine, infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in data visualization, predictive modeling, and AI in geomatics.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
