What you will do

• Prepare site design deliverables including grading, drainage plans, and utility layouts
• Perform engineering calculations and develop stormwater management reports and utility design narratives
• Produce construction documents, plans, profiles, details, and technical specifications
• Manage permitting and approvals by preparing agency submittals and responding to review comments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from the concept phase through construction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 2–4 years of relevant civil/site engineering experience
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in NY or NJ

Nice to have

• Experience with MicroStation, HydroCAD, or HEC-RAS
• Familiarity with NYC/NYS (e.g., NYCDEP, NYCDOT) or NJ (e.g., NJDEP) agency approval processes
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
