What you will do

• Own the general ledger for US entities, managing journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Lead the US month-end close process, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenue.
• Manage federal, state, and sales tax obligations to ensure full legal compliance across jurisdictions.
• Oversee full-cycle AR and AP operations and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Administer the core finance stack (NetSuite, Salesforce, Mesh) to ensure data integrity and integration.
• Deploy AI tools to automate repetitive workflows and scale the finance function efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York.
• Proven experience owning US accounting operations end-to-end.
• Ability to build accounting policies and internal controls from scratch.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
• Strong aptitude for using AI tools as a force multiplier for productivity.
