Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity/Java): Leading an engineering team developing a flagship PKI product with an accent on people leadership, technical guidance, and scalable software delivery. Focus on building high-performing teams, optimizing engineering effectiveness, and owning production availability and security.

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden (minimum 2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Build, coach, and empower a high-performing engineering team of 8-15 engineers.
• Align engineering efforts with product strategy and business outcomes to deliver end-to-end value.
• Improve engineering effectiveness and quality metrics, such as test coverage and cycle time.
• Own system availability, performance, and security in production.
• Provide ongoing mentorship, career guidance, and growth plans for engineers.
• Collaborate with Product Management and manage geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden.
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineers.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD/DevOps.
• Experience leading teams building for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Fluent English (oral and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with digital certificates or PKI.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
