What you will do

• Lead the design, integration, and validation of landing gear, fuel distribution systems, ECS, and hydraulic circuits for UAV platforms.
• Develop 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation using CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.
• Perform structural, hydromechanical, and thermal analyses to ensure system integrity under operational loads.
• Define system requirements, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs) according to aerospace standards.
• Support prototype builds, ground tests, and flight trials to troubleshoot and resolve design issues in real time.
• Ensure strict compliance with airworthiness regulations and defense sector quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems design.
• Proven expertise in at least three of the following: landing gear, fuel systems, ECS, hydraulics, or actuation.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM systems (CATIA, NX, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with FEA and CFD tools, and defense standards such as AS9100, MIL-STD, and DO-160.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
• Exposure to EASA Part 21 or GCAA Design Organisation Approval (DOA).
• Certification in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ASEP/CSEP) or Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2).
