What you will do

• Design and optimize gas turbine static and rotary systems for life, weight, and cost.
• Perform Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and define assembly procedures.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings and guidelines.
• Conduct FMECA to support safety and operability assessments.
• Review designs, simulations, and generate testing guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical feedback.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and gas turbine propulsion.
• Strong background in mechanical integrity and heat transfer.
• Proficiency in design software such as Solidworks or Siemens NX.
• Experience with PLM tools like Teamcenter or Windchill.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in FEA or lower-order simulation methods.
• Programming skills in C or Matlab/Simulink.
• Knowledge of FRACAS activities.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art materials and structural mechanics.
