Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Retention): Owning the strategy and execution of the retention program to improve customer lifetime value with an accent on technical platform ownership and cross-functional execution. Location: Hybrid in New York, NY (onsite 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Salary: $114,000–$133,000 USD Annually

What you will do
- Own the retention program roadmap and translate strategic direction into a prioritized, sequenced plan.
- Drive multi-channel retention initiatives across email, push, in-app, SMS, and direct mail.
- Execute technical buildout in enterprise ESP platforms, including complex journeys, API-triggered sends, and A/B testing.
- Lead platform migrations and infrastructure projects, including journey rebuilds and QA.
- Collaborate as the primary lifecycle point of contact for Product, Growth, Creative, Data, and Engineering teams.
- Establish and maintain a repeatable experimentation cadence tied directly to Lifecycle OKRs.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or marketing automation.
- At least 2 years of experience owning a channel or program end-to-end.
- Deep proficiency in enterprise lifecycle platforms such as Braze or Iterable.
- Experience navigating platform migrations or major technical transitions.
- Technical ability to build complex journeys and understand data architecture.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite from the NYC hub three days per week.

- Experience with Customer.io.
- Proficiency in HTML email builds and template management.
