TL;DR

CRM Manager (EdTech): Leading global customer retention campaign strategy across email, push, and in-app messaging with an accent on identifying revenue-driving moments and minimizing churn. Focus on deploying personalized high-value customer journeys and optimizing CLV through data-driven testing and regional optimization.

Location: Must be based in New York City (minimum 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

What you will do

  • Develop and execute global CRM campaign strategies to drive upsell, cross-sell, and reduce churn.
  • Lead end-to-end deployment and optimization of personalized customer journeys.
  • Implement new retention programs to increase customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
  • Manage a retention-focused campaign calendar in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with creative, product, and international teams for on-brand messaging.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of CRM experience in high-volume, retention-focused roles.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Emarsys, Braze, or Customer.io.
  • Proficiency in email-specific HTML/CSS, liquid/scripting logic, and SQL querying.
  • Experience with BI platforms like Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics, or Amplitude.
  • Strong understanding of global compliance regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL).
  • Must be based in New York City for a hybrid work model.

  • Experience in a B2C subscription-based tech company.
