Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in Office) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you will do

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle for utility-scale BESS projects from lead generation to contract execution.
  • Drive revenue growth and order intake by delivering against quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop strategic customer relationships and act as the primary owner for assigned accounts in the Benelux region.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Contracting teams to develop bid strategies and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and pipeline management within Salesforce CRM.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for repeat business or digital solution expansions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales or account management within energy, renewables, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, large-scale B2B sales.
  • Strong understanding of battery energy storage systems (BESS) or renewable technologies (Solar-PV, EV).
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling energy solutions specifically in the Benelux market.
  • Exposure to utilities, IPPs, or large energy consumers.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
  • Experience in global, matrixed organizations.
