Senior Energy Storage Estimator (BESS): Developing accurate EPC cost estimates and technical proposals for energy storage solutions across the EMEA region with an accent on medium/high voltage and civil engineering. Focus on creating pricing databases, evaluating BOP contractor proposals, and ensuring technical handover to project execution teams.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Erlangen or Berlin, Germany

What you will do

• Translate customer requirements into optimized technical BESS proposals for the EMEA region.
• Develop and maintain a pricing table database for large-scale BESS components.
• Lead the solicitation and evaluation of proposals from electrical and civil BOP contractors.
• Create accurate EPC costs and budgets in collaboration with Procurement and Product Management.
• Qualify subcontractors for MV and HV scope and support project start-up.
• Coordinate product availability and pricing across Manufacturing and Procurement departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in energy storage, solar, power generation, or industrial BOP/EPC works.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to review contracts, RFPs, and perform take-offs from engineering drawings.
• Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Erlangen or Berlin, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager.
