TL;DR

Technology Director (AI/iGaming): Leading the technology vision and execution for a division focused on AI-driven customer platforms with an accent on machine learning, automation, and data-driven capabilities. Focus on scaling innovation, integrating LLMs and generative AI, and ensuring operational excellence of AI-powered products.

Location: Hybrid in London (up to 50 days of work from home per year available after first three months)

What you will do

  • Define and execute the technology roadmap with a strong emphasis on AI, ML, and data platforms.
  • Drive innovation in AI-powered customer capabilities such as personalization and predictive analytics.
  • Own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of the AI-driven customer platform.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, and ML engineering.
  • Establish best practices for AI development, model validation, and deployment cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and establish frameworks for ethical AI use.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling AI/ML-powered products in production.
  • Strong background in data platforms, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists.
  • Deep understanding of predictive models, NLP, or recommender systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-driven CRM, marketing automation, or customer engagement platforms.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, or conversational systems.
  • Exposure to highly regulated environments regarding data privacy and security.
