Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (Employee Relations Investigation)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; onsite and not remote. Relocation is required if not already local. The role may require occasional extended hours, weekends, and up to 10% business travel to other SpaceX sites.

Base salary: $115,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential stock, bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do

• Respond to employee inquiries, complaints, and employee relations matters, including performance management questions.
• Partner with employees, managers, directors, and senior leaders on workforce analytics, organizational optimization, leadership development, and strategic initiatives.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies, applicable laws, and workplace decisions.
• Facilitate internal transfers, promotions, exit interviews, and retention and career development initiatives.
• Support HR policy, program, and process creation, documentation, and implementation.
• Maintain confidential employee files and process HR transactions in Workday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of professional human resources experience.
• Experience independently handling employee relations issues.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize work, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States under ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering, production, or manufacturing environments supporting exempt and hourly workforces.
• Experience with Greenhouse, UltiPro, or Workday.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience building effective relationships and supporting organizational change.
