TL;DR

Director, Agency Development (AdTech): Building and shaping the North American agency development strategy to grow partnerships with top US holding companies and independent agencies with an accent on strategic partnerships and revenue growth. Location: New York City, NY. Hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office)

Salary: $287,000 - $400,000 USD (Base + OTE)

What you will do

  • Own and expand senior relationships with top US agency holding companies and independent agencies, serving as the primary strategic partner.
  • Develop the North American agency development strategy and playbook for engagement and growth within the agency community.
  • Drive large-scale agency enablement through trainings, demo days, workshops, and strategic roadshows.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to connect agency relationships to opportunities and convert enthusiasm into revenue.
  • Partner on co-branded marketing, thought leadership, PR, and event activations.
  • Build and manage a small agency development team, setting goals and tracking performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising at a top-tier technology or media company, focused on agency development.
  • Established relationships with VP and C-suite stakeholders at major US agency holding companies.
  • Deep knowledge of the agency ecosystem, including trading desks, programmatic, and media buying operations.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships rather than direct account selling.
  • Comfort with frequent domestic travel (typically 2+ trips per month).
  • Must be based in New York City for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

  • Experience working closely with programmatic or performance-focused agency buyers.
  • Previous people management experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
