What you will do

• Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, policies, and benefits administration.
• Own HR operations in the US, ensuring compliance with federal and California regulations.
• Lead office space strategy, including evaluation, negotiation, and vendor management for the SF office.
• Develop cultural rituals and team events to foster a strong in-person community.
• Partner with the Head of People on global talent and people strategy.
• Build and implement scalable HR systems and processes from the ground up.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Office Management, ideally in a high-growth tech startup.
• Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience in office space ownership, space planning, and facilities management.
• Strong communication skills and a builder mentality to fill gaps and fix inefficiencies.
• Ability to operate autonomously in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling teams through hyper-growth (doubling or tripling headcount).
• Background in establishing HR infrastructure from scratch at a startup.
• Familiarity with HR and ATS platforms such as Rippling, Greenhouse, Lattice, or Ashby.
