What you will do
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers, driving engineering best practices and professional growth.
- Collaborate with product, design, and TPMs to introduce and evolve customer-facing platform features.
- Set the team roadmap, identify and scope improvements to the frontend platform, and drive delivery of high-quality initiatives.
- Participate actively in system design, code reviews, and contribute direct code to the codebase.
- Drive organization-wide adoption of AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor to accelerate modular delivery.
- Utilize data-driven management practices to track key metrics and consistently meet established SLAs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years of engineering management experience leading teams of 8+ engineers.
- Proficiency across the full stack: React, Remix/Next.js, Node, GoLang, Python, and relational databases.
- Deep understanding of the entire SDLC, including continuous delivery, release strategies, and GenAI developer tooling.
- Proven track record of building, scaling, and retaining high-performing teams, including promoting senior engineers.
- Must be based in the US (Employment eligibility verified via E-Verify).
