What you will do

• Design and implement cloud-native services using Scala and open-source frameworks like Akka and ZIO.
• Lead medium to large software engineering teams through the full SDLC process and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product Management to detail requirements and deliver end products for clients.
• Develop product offerings and go-to-market strategies in coordination with investment banks and third-party distributors.
• Lead platform demonstrations for new prospects and manage responses to RFPs.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain standard change management processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud-based application development.
• Degree in Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Scala, Node.js, or Java.
• Strong understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex project dependencies.
