What you will do

• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of platform engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Partner with tech leads and leadership to define the long-term vision and roadmap for platform infrastructure.
• Guide the creation of diverse tooling, monorepo capabilities, and project templates for engineering consistency.
• Drive the design and implementation of shared libraries focused on observability.
• Champion improvements to the speed, reliability, and comprehensiveness of CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to prioritize platform investments based on business impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams, specifically in platform, infrastructure, or developer experience.
• Strong technical background in Go and/or Python for code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience working within large monorepos (familiarity with Bazel, Pants, Moon, or Turborepo is a plus).
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD concepts and improving developer experience at scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence across teams.
