What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of RHOSP 17.1-based cloud environments across compute, storage, and networking.
• Manage day-to-day OpenStack operations to ensure system uptime, stability, and performance.
• Integrate RHOSP telemetry using Ceilometer, Prometheus, and Grafana for advanced observability.
• Develop Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts to automate provisioning, patching, and backups.
• Validate security and compliance against STIG and RHOSP 17.x standards.
• Coordinate with Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams to integrate workloads into hybrid infrastructures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Linux system architecture and administration with RHEL and RHOSP.
• Proven track record of architecting and operating private or hybrid OpenStack clouds.
• Strong expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Git, and automation workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Alert Manager, and Grafana.
• Location: Must be based in San Jose, California

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification.
• Experience with iSCSI/NFS storage and GPU integration within OpenStack.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud operations in AWS or Azure.
