What you will do

• Design and deliver AWS cloud architecture solutions for exchange and data platforms to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Develop and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and reference designs for engineering teams.
• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform to ensure consistency and auditability.
• Partner with Platform, Security, and Data Engineering teams to translate infrastructure needs into scalable designs.
• Conduct architectural reviews and mentor engineers on cloud-native design principles.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, reliability risks, and cost inefficiencies in cloud systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering, with 3+ years specifically in cloud architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency with AWS core services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront).
• Strong command of Terraform and modern CI/CD tooling like GitHub Actions.
• Experience designing for high-throughput, low-latency workloads (Adtech, Fintech, or Media experience is a plus).
• Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI, NIST CSF).
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
