What you will do

• Drive innovation and define multi-year technical roadmaps for the global wireless product portfolio.
• Architect high-performance wireless systems including access points, controllers, and edge platforms.
• Integrate AI/ML technologies for autonomous RF optimization and predictive network analytics.
• Set architectural principles and standards guiding development across hardware, firmware, and cloud software.
• Represent the company in industry standard bodies like IEEE 802.11 and the Wi-Fi Alliance.
• Provide expert-level technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in wireless networking or telecommunications engineering.
• Deep expertise in Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and RF engineering.
• Strong background in network protocols including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and QoS.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python with experience in real-time software design.
• Working knowledge of Linux/FreeBSD kernel development and cloud-native technologies.
• Must be based in California or able to work in a hybrid capacity within the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with private wireless networks or carrier-grade infrastructure.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure networking and x86/ARM hardware acceleration.
• Proven contributions to wireless industry standards or patents.
