What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of high-performance wireless systems, including access points, controllers, and cloud-managed infrastructure.
• Define multi-year technology roadmaps for Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 8, and emerging wireless technologies.
• Integrate AI/ML into the wireless edge to enable autonomous RF optimization and predictive network analytics.
• Establish technical standards and architecture principles across hardware, firmware, RF, and cloud software teams.
• Influence the evolution of next-generation wireless standards through participation in IEEE 802.11, Wi-Fi Alliance, and WBA.
• Partner with executives and strategic customers to solve complex wireless challenges and drive technology migration.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in wireless networking or telecommunications engineering.
• Deep expertise in Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and RF engineering.
• Expert proficiency in C/C++, Python, and real-time software design.
• Strong background in network protocols including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and QoS.
• Experience with Linux/FreeBSD kernels, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and Azure Networking.
• Contributions to industry standards or patents in wireless technologies.
• Experience with x86/ARM hardware acceleration for networking.
• Knowledge of cloud-managed networking platforms.
