What you will do

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customer contacts across multiple levels and functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Analyze market trends to provide customers with competitive, data-driven pricing and spot bid strategies.
  • Utilize Tableau to identify patterns, optimize account performance, and present insights to leadership.
  • Drive customer retention and growth by identifying opportunities and aligning strategies with customer goals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers to foster team development.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or be able to work from Chicago, IL.
  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, account management, or customer service in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work outside traditional 8–5 hours when needed to support critical escalations.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence/analytics platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation/logistics operations and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success with spot bidding and applying market knowledge to pricing strategy.
  • Leadership or mentorship experience within a team setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite.
