What you will do

• Lead manufacturing process development for new products from concept to production ramp-up, aligning with program milestones.
• Develop CAPEX justifications, lead capital projects from approval to handover, and author equipment specifications and RFQs.
• Validate and improve processes, drive scrap reduction, efficiency gains, and cycle time optimization via continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead APQP deliverables including process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and work instructions.
• Support training on equipment, tooling, and processes; reduce changeover times and enhance manufacturing flexibility.
• Collaborate across engineering, quality, operations, and suppliers on capacity planning and new product strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in advanced manufacturing or process engineering
• Experience in plastic molding & assembly, new product pre-production trials
• Knowledge of CAPEX evaluation and implementation; automotive OEM or Tier-1 experience
• Hands-on with Robotics, Automation, PLC, Vision Systems; CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Familiarity with MES, SAP or similar; Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt desirable)
