Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing): Perform intermediate-level preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems with an accent on diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues. Focus on completing repairs, supporting equipment installations and upgrades, and improving machine uptime and reliability.

Location: On-site in Plymouth, MN. U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status only due to ITAR regulations. Individuals with temporary visas (e.g., E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, OPT) are not eligible.

Salary: $26.83 - $36.83 an hour

What you will do

• Perform scheduled maintenance on machine tools including cleaning, lubrication, filter changing, belt replacement, adjustments, and basic repairs
• Handle complex repairs, equipment installations, and upgrades
• Complete occasional CAD projects for facilities and maintenance
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of CMMS program
• Maintain clean, organized work area emphasizing safety, quality, efficiency
• Continually improve processes and adhere to quality/safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical school or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field preferred
• 3+ years hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (or equivalent military)
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Basic electrical knowledge up to 480V, experience with motors, starters, relays, VFDs
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, basic PLC ladder logic
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment; strong troubleshooting under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Prior experience with injection molding machines and CNC
