What you will do

• Design and develop production fixtures, QC equipment, and specialized tooling to support assembly and testing.
• Collaborate with product design, quality, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production issues and support new launches.
• Partner with vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Monitor production issues and perform root cause analysis (FMEA) to drive corrective actions and recover production lines.
• Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Refine products for efficient, cost-effective, and scalable manufacturing through Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, tooling, or equipment development for high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven ability to execute complex mechanical designs and bring them from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, injection molding, casting, welding, and mechanical assembly processes.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and engineering change management.
• Experience with products shipped to customers and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
