TL;DR
Corporate Account Manager (): Developing, managing, and closing sales of software portfolio to mid-market customers with an accent on outbound prospecting, solution selling, and aligning technology to business needs. Focus on building complex sales engagements targeting DevOps, IT Ops, and Security personas, managing sales cycles, and accurate forecasting.
Location: Austin, Texas, United States. Expected to work from the Austin, TX office on a weekly basis on days designated by manager. IBM will not provide visa sponsorship; must have ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Engage new and existing open source users to upsell the full technology portfolio.
- Conduct significant outbound sales using tools like Yesware, DiscoverOrg, Sales Navigator, Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
- Manage multiple sales cycles, campaigns, and install base customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and execute complex sales targeting Development, IT Operations, and Security Operations personas.
- Align solutions to customer business challenges and technical requirements using solution and value selling.
- Articulate company and product vision, qualify leads, and forecast business monthly and quarterly.
Requirements
- 2+ years of complex, full-cycle sales closing experience with success in inbound and outbound motions.
- Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure software; open source business models preferred.
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding goals, creating/executing business plans.
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and experience with forecasting/business reporting.
- Must work from Austin, TX office weekly; no visa sponsorship.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Nice to have
- MEDDPICC Certified or Value-Selling Sales Methodology experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, Clari, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Tableau, ZoomInfo.
