TL;DR

Location: Hybrid, must be based in the UK (at one of the firm's 18 branches)

What you will do

  • Oversee the strategic and operational performance of the Clinical Negligence team.
  • Manage a personal caseload of high-value, complex claims from initial interview to settlement.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, providing strategic input on case progression.
  • Drive financial performance, including billing, forecasting, and cost recovery.
  • Provide legal advice to Trade Unions, their members, and private clients.
  • Support business development and raise the team's profile.

Requirements

  • Significant post-qualification experience in complex clinical negligence litigation.
  • Extensive experience with trials, ADR, and interlocutory applications.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and mentoring skills.
  • Accreditation with the Law Society, AVMA, or an equivalent body.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and legal IT tools.
  • Must be based in the UK to work from one of the firm's branches.
