Paralegal (Insurance Law)

TL;DR

Paralegal (Insurance Law): Supporting lawyers in the Property Risks and Coverage Recoveries team with an accent on document collation, legal research, and case management. Focus on assisting with property damage claims arising from fires, floods, and product liability.

Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK). 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

What you will do

• Chase and collate documents for lawyers to determine case strategy.
• Diarise Court orders and manage other critical deadlines.
• Arrange conferences and coordinate Counsel and expert attendance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare factual chronologies.
• Ensure full compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations.

Requirements

• Degree level education and/or Post graduate qualification.
• Strong ability to prioritize workload and maintain high attention to detail.
• Experience working with case management systems.
• Ability to handle competing demands from a team of lawyers.
• Must be based in or able to work in Bristol, UK.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a team handling insurance claims.
• Knowledge of disputes typically managed by Property Risks and Coverage teams.
