Property Risks and Coverage Paralegal

Location: Bolton, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home; working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00, 35 hours per week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

What you will do

• Support experienced lawyers on household and commercial property damage recovery matters involving fires, floods, product liability, and other perils.
• Chase and collate documents required by lawyers to assess case strategy.
• Diary court orders and other critical dates.
• Arrange conferences, counsel attendance, and expert attendance.
• Conduct legal research and complete factual chronologies.
• Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations while completing delegated tasks on team files.

Requirements

• Degree-level education and/or postgraduate qualification.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing demands from a team of lawyers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with case management systems.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a team handling insurance claims.
• Knowledge of the disputes handled by the Property Risks and Coverage team.
