Salary: $145,000 - $230,000

What you will do

• Design and deploy automated inspection cells for advanced NDT methods including UT, VT, RT, and CT.
• Own the full automation stack: robot motion paths, sensor integration, deterministic triggering, and operator UX.
• Integrate modality-specific hardware such as phased-array UT probes, digital radiography sources, and CT turntables.
• Partner with certified NDT personnel and Quality teams to validate methods against industry standards.
• Build structured inspection data pipelines for SPC, traceability, and customer handoff.
• Manage station safety, including radiation shielding for RT/CT and collision prevention for all modalities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing or commissioning automated inspection/NDT systems in production.
• Direct ownership of at least one automated station involving robot motion and sensor acquisition.
• Practical experience in at least one NDT modality (UT, VT, RT, or CT).
• Working knowledge of industrial controls (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or Siemens TIA).
• Bachelor's degree in EE, ME, Mechatronics, Robotics, Physics, Materials, or equivalent experience.
• Must be ITAR eligible.

Nice to have

• Radiation safety officer certification or state radiation safety training.
• Proficiency in Python or C# for acquisition glue and data processing.
• Experience with standards such as NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, ASTM, or MIL-STD.
• Background in GD&T, CMM, or dimensional inspection.
• Offline robot programming experience (RoboDK, Visual Components, etc.).
