What you will do

• Lead full-stack development of search, RAG, and agentic AI applications using Python, TypeScript/React, and Java.
• Design and maintain evaluation harnesses for chunking strategies, embedding models, and end-to-end RAG response quality.
• Build LLM evaluation frameworks including automated regression suites, human preference datasets, and task-specific benchmarks.
• Architect production-grade React frontends with deep component design, accessible UI patterns, and performance profiling.
• Establish observability standards for AI systems including distributed tracing, structured logging, and LLM-specific metrics.
• Design and operate AWS-based infrastructure (ECS/EKS, Lambda, OpenSearch) using Terraform or CDK.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of production systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• Hands-on experience building LLM/RAG pipelines and evaluation frameworks (offline evals, hallucination detection).
• Strong skills in React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Java, including REST and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, OpenSearch) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK).

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise search platforms such as Sinequa, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of graph databases like Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
• AWS certifications or experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Background in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries.
