What you will do

• Lead the development, deployment, and optimization of credit strategies for Personal and Student loans.
• Design data-based strategies for pre-screening, underwriting, and risk tiering to drive credit optimization.
• Partner with the Data Science team to design and deploy new machine learning risk models.
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, establishing target metrics and identifying gaps.
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts while coordinating with Capital Markets and FP&A teams.
• Develop diligence materials to support business transactions and provide analysis for external ratings agencies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of risk management experience in the consumer lending industry.
• Experience developing data-driven credit strategies and building underwriting risk scores.
• Proficiency in modeling techniques, including decision trees, logistic regression, and gradient boosting.
• Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Must be based in the United States.
