What you will do

• Architect, specify, and configure high-power chargers for hirify.global depots.
• Validate charger system requirements and technical specifications.
• Design and execute validation tests to confirm system performance and reliability.
• Debug and triage charger failures reported from the field.
• Evaluate and select new charger hardware architectures and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in high-power charging hardware, including power module design, schematic capture, and board layout.
• Experience delivering at least one project from the prototype phase into mass production.
• Proficiency in hardware validation cycles, lab bring-up, and manufacturing testing processes.
• Knowledge of electric vehicles, power electronics, high voltage safety, and functional safety design.
• Must be able to adhere to a hybrid work schedule in Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience in high-power charging hardware.
• Experience scaling charger projects to large deployments (>1000 units).
• Experience with integrated electronic systems design.
• Familiarity with Python, Linux, and C++.
