What you will do

• Design high voltage battery pack components for commercial and defense aircraft programs.
• Collaborate with CAE engineers, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
• Provide hands-on prototyping, build, and root cause support throughout the design cycle.
• Ensure all product designs meet strict FAA certification requirements.
• Develop innovative battery solutions that exceed conventional aerospace design requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience, specifically in high voltage battery design for automotive or aerospace.
• Strong proficiency in CAD (NX preferred), tolerance stack analysis, and 2D drafting with GD&T.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes for both prototypes and mass production.
• Ability to leverage simplified tools, calculations, and CAE for rapid development.
• Must have valid US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
