What you will do

• Define and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and drive multi-sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with hardware, supply chain, and procurement teams to select components based on performance, cost, and availability.
• Monitor component lifecycles, market shifts, lead times, and supplier health to proactively mitigate risks.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sourcing strategies to enable smooth product lifecycles.
• Influence the performance, reliability, and scalability of advanced compute systems through strategic component choices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in component engineering, hardware engineering, or supply chain within computing or complex electronic systems.
• Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong technical understanding of semiconductors, memory, power, passives, and connectors.
• Ability to manage tradeoffs between cost, performance, and supply risk.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology (EAR compliance).
