TL;DR
Build Reliability Engineer (Aerospace): Developing and implementing internal processes and manufacturing software to optimize the reliability and quality of next-generation weapon systems with an accent on production workflows and quality control. Focus on conducting root cause analyses, managing nonconformance, and optimizing design for manufacturability and inspectability.
Location: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), refugee, or asylee to comply with U.S. Government ITAR export regulations.

What you will do
- Integrate reliability and quality considerations into all product lifecycle phases, participating in Design and Build Reviews.
- Develop and implement Quality Control Processes, standards, and planning to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Optimize production efficiency and change control through the development of manufacturing software and ECR/ECO processes.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using FMEA and statistical analysis.
- Oversee nonconformance management, including risk analysis and control of non-conforming hardware.
- Create training materials and plans to ensure technician and inspector competency.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a reliability and/or quality engineering role.
- U.S. Person status (Citizen, Green Card, Refugee, or Asylee) is strictly required for ITAR compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex reliability challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace or defense/government programs.
- Experience implementing or enhancing Manufacturing Enterprise Software.
- Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, APQP, Metrology, and PFMEA.
- Experience supporting high-volume production teams during ramp-up.
