Salary: $66,900 – $124,300

What you will do
- Lead NPI activities, including process development, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.
- Troubleshoot existing product lines using root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, DMAIC).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, PFMEAs, and control plans.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and improve reliability.
- Train operators and technicians on new manufacturing processes and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Proven expertise in NPI, lean manufacturing, and SPC.
- U.S. Citizenship is strictly required due to national security contractual obligations.
- Ability to pass a United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background screen.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 75% during the first 90 days.
Nice to have
- Experience with precision instrumentation or test and measurement equipment.
- Knowledge of low-noise, high-bandwidth electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with process automation, fixture design, and CAD tools (SolidWorks).
