What you will do

• Develop and execute advocacy strategies for technology, data, and privacy policies to advance high-quality healthcare.
• Serve as a primary liaison and spokesperson between the company, its members, lawmakers, and the administration.
• Collaborate with other DC-based healthcare organizations to foster coalitions and negotiate lobbying agendas.
• Coordinate with the Public Relations team to create and publish content that elevates advocacy priorities.
• Provide expert guidance to help members navigate and operate within rapidly changing policy environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in Washington, DC.
• Progressive experience in policy research, advocacy, or consulting within health plans or hospital systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies and alternative payment mechanisms.
• Training in public health, health services research, and policy analysis.
• Strong quantitative reasoning skills within a healthcare research environment.
