Trade Compliance Specialist

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 Annually

What you will do

• Prepare, monitor, and implement export/import license applications and track consumption on assigned licenses.
• Advise the business on foreign travel and visitor export concerns and develop technology control plans.
• Perform denied party screening and advise personnel on listing changes impacting business practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to review shipping paperwork and assist with commodity classifications.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and research the interpretation of export laws.
• Identify and report suspected compliance violations to management and assist in investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, contracts, or logistics).
• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement of this role.
• Knowledge of U.S. export/import regulations including ITAR, EAR, ATF, and OFAC.
• Exposure to export/import concepts and principles.

Nice to have

• Experience using SAP, GTS, OCR EASE, SNAP-R, and DECCS.
