TL;DR

Construction Manager (Conventional Generation): Coordination of construction activities for power generation projects with an accent on schedule compliance, safety, and quality control. Focus on managing subcontractors, overseeing site productivity, and ensuring project budget and schedule requirements are met.

Location: Onsite in SC, TX, GA, or OK, US. Field assignment requiring travel.

What you will do

  • Manage and coordinate on-site subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with the CPM schedule.
  • Implement the Project Construction Execution Plan and supervise/mentor superintendents.
  • Monitor construction productivity and report performance trends to the Site Manager.
  • Coordinate Construction Completion Walkdowns and hand over start-up packages.
  • Manage RFI responses and ensure the completion of the construction punchlist.
  • Act as the site Safety Representative in the absence of the Safety Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 14+ years of construction supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a Construction Manager.
  • OSHA Training certification.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must be able to pass background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records search.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of construction technology (Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, CFB, Nuclear).
  • Experience in the EPC industry and constructability.
  • Proficiency in project and department budget tools and project controls.
