Sr. Commissioning Provider

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, USA; on-site. Travel: 30–50%.

What you will do

• Manage commissioning projects from pre-construction through close-out, potentially overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, owners, clients, and internal project teams.
• Develop commissioning scopes, fees, plans, reports, systems manuals, and project-specific testing documentation.
• Conduct design reviews, submittal and shop drawing reviews, site observations, warranty walkthroughs, and commissioning meetings.
• Develop and execute Pre-Functional Checklists, Functional Performance Tests, and Integrated Systems Tests.
• Manage commissioning issues, project finances, invoices, and project close-out activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning, and project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects from start to finish and coordinating project stakeholders.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand project scopes, specifications, contracts, schedules, regulations, and safety measures.
• Knowledge of engineering principles in the built environment, local energy codes, and LEED commissioning requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to bend and lift 30 pounds and climb stairs or ladders.
