What you will do

• Manage commissioning projects from pre-construction to close-out, including the development of scope and fees for proposals.
• Perform design reviews (OPR, BOD, Plans) and facilitate OPR workshops.
• Develop and execute project-specific test scripts, including Pre-Functional Checklists (PFC), Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).
• Conduct periodic site observation visits and prepare detailed site observation reports.
• Coordinate with general contractors, sub-contractors, and owners to resolve commissioning issues.
• Develop final commissioning reports and comprehensive systems manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning, and project management experience.
• High-level engineering knowledge specifically regarding the built environment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project financial information.
• Strong understanding of local energy codes and LEED Cx requirements.
• Physical ability to bend, lift 30 lbs, and climb stairs/ladders.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Nashville, TN.

Nice to have

• Project Management Certification.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• Certification in Building Commissioning.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems.
• Previous field experience.
