Shift Supervisor (Engineering)

What you will do

• Manage all daily shift operational activities and provide direction to assigned personnel.
• Ensure plants are operated safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA and environmental permits.
• Oversee the training program to qualify and re-qualify operators for promotion.
• Track, prioritize, and approve work orders using the CMMS system.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain uniform monitoring, recordkeeping, and resolution of customer complaints.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience in utility or industrial settings.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical exams and drug screenings.
• Physical capability to handle 50 lbs, climb heights, work in confined spaces, and tolerate temperature extremes.
• Must qualify to wear a respirator.

Nice to have

• Technical or trade school graduate.
• Philadelphia Class A Stationary Engineers License.
• Working knowledge of high-pressure boiler operation, combustion/steam turbines, and water treatment.
• Skills in DCS controls and electro-pneumatic/hydraulic controls.
• Prior experience supervising shift employees.
