What you will do

• Own end-to-end global payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions, PEOs, and EOR arrangements.
• Lead the consolidation of payroll operations to reduce vendor complexity and lower processing costs.
• Manage equity and token compensation programs, including RSU/RTU administration and payroll tax treatment.
• Oversee payroll accounting and monthly close processes using NetSuite, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for US federal and state tax authorities regarding nexus and compliance.
• Build and deploy AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reporting visibility.

Requirements

• Experience managing multi-country payroll operations across PEOs, EORs, and locally incorporated entities.
• Deep expertise in payroll accounting, month-end close, and GAAP compliance.
• Hands-on experience with US federal and state payroll tax compliance and nexus analysis.
• Proven track record of payroll consolidation, process centralization, or system implementation.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and equity compensation platforms.
• Daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to redesign finance operations workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in Web3, fintech, or crypto-native organizations, especially with token compensation.
• Background in multi-entity international structures and entity consolidation projects.
