Salary: $260,000 – $335,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Define the Service analytics strategy, including core metrics, reporting logic, and decision frameworks across customer experience and operational performance.
• Create a unified analytics model spanning Support, Warranty, Returns, Reverse Logistics, Commerce, and Finance.
• Partner with Data Engineering to build the data models, pipelines, and semantic layers required for hardware service analytics.
• Lead forecasting for warranty return rates, costs, and operational demand using telemetry and claims history.
• Define and measure service unit economics, including cost per shipped unit, cost per claim, and cost per resolved case.
• Build executive dashboards and operating-review materials to translate data into clear recommendations and decisions.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data science, ideally in consumer hardware or operations.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and analytics fundamentals.
• Proven experience building analytics systems and KPI frameworks from 0→1.
• Experience with forecasting, operational modeling, and scenario planning.
• Background in warranty, claims, returns, repairs, or reverse-logistics analytics.

Nice to have

• Experience leading or readiness to lead a lean, high-impact analytics team.
• Familiarity with product quality, reliability analytics, or cost-of-quality frameworks.
• Experience with global support, multi-market service environments, or AI-enabled support operations.
