What you will do

• Maintain and troubleshoot metocean equipment, including wave buoys, tide gauges, and meteorological stations.
• Supervise survey work, including the mobilisation and demobilisation of assets.
• Mentor graduate colleagues in survey tasks and safe working practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan survey operations and liaise with vessel crews.
• Process oceanographic datasets and create technical data analysis reports.
• Perform dynamic risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in oceanography, science, instrumentation, or engineering (electrical/mechanical).
• At least one year of relevant experience in a technical or operational discipline.
• Knowledge of oceanographic principles and marine operational planning.
• Valid GWO or BOSIET, first aid, and offshore medical certifications (OGUK or ENG1).
• Full driving licence and working at height/slinger and signaller certifications.
• Ability to travel offshore for approximately 70 to 100 days per year.
